We booked the white river rafting through Ubud Adventures while staying at the Maya Ubud. transfers by private transport. The steps down (there & back) are many, but easy & well made, unlike other rafting companies. We also started well ahead of the others. The rafting itself is good fun, with lots of rapids. Will take approximately 2 hours to finish. Wouldnt recommend,stopping to buy drinks on the way through. Scenery is great - rainforest, monkeys, carvings in the stone etc. You will get very wet - wear jandals & thin clothing. Only one place where you will have to walk over - no problem. Showers with provided lockers are available to use. Dont worry about taking a camera. They take photos on the way through & only charge a small amount at the end for this service.

This is the second time we use their services. Just as two years ago, getting in contact with the company is easy, be it by email or Whatsapp. The response time is always very fast and things are very easy. Our driver Wayan is fantastic: he has an interesting conversation, he tries his best for you to feel cared for, he always has stories to tell, he is very friendly and thoughtful, and on top of that , he is a very safe and good driver. So, what else could i say? ubud adventures will contribute to make your days in Bali even more enjoyable ! Since the trips are designed on a personal basis, you can get the most out of them. That’s what we have done all the times: instead of just traveling from one point to another, they organize the trip so that you can do stops and visits along the way. And Wayan always complements that with interesting information. So, I recommend this company 100%.

Kadek Wira took us on a waterfall tour. It was absolutely fantastic. Wira went out of his way, showed us more than we expected to see, answered endless questions and was patient listening to my broken Balinese. He was adamant that we don’t rush and wanted us to relax and enjoy the day. The unexpected visit to the catpoo coffee tasting was another highlight. The Tegelalang rice fields were stunning. The waterfalls were a bit dirty due to the rainfall but that didn’t matter. They were still very special! We swam in a couple which was a refreshing experience. He looked after us so well. Held our belongings, towels and offered us refreshing water regularly. Checked that we had everything and didn’t leave anything behind at each stop. His attention to detail was excellent. He helped my daughter with a blister and put lotion and bandage on her toe. So kind. We saw a lot of traditional Bali in north and south we wouldn’t normally have seen. We had a wonderful day! We asked our driver Made Chandra of 10 years, to take us somewhere different. We departed our report at 8 am and had a leisurely 1 hour drive to Tukad Cepung Waterfall. You have to walk down some fairly steep stairs (I am a 55 year old who is over weight and waiting on a knee transplant, and I managed this easily, by taking my time and not rushing), the view at the bottom was absolutely breathtaking as per the photos. From here Made Chandra took us to Amora Restaurant Kintamani (check the review on that, it was awesome). After lunch Made Chandra took us to tegalalang rice terrace. This was one of the most enjoyable days that we have had, all thanks to our local knowledgeable driver. This is a must see.

We had Kadek as a driver first we booked for a waterfall day trip which he was able to personalise for us to suit our needs taking us to 2 extra stops along the way! We then went on to organise a personalised day for the rest of our itinerary which was perfect and took us onto our next accomodation, could not recommend the driver and the company more :)

My husband and I completed a waterfall tour, visiting four waterfalls along with rice terraces, Bali swings, coffee plantation and lunch with our tour guide Wira and driver Madi. Wira was amazing and ensured there was no rush throughout the entire day! The views were spectacular and Wira took photos for us all day! The tour was private just for my husband and myself and it has been one of the best things we have done in all our trips to Bali! I cannot recommend Wira and ubud adventures enough.

This was a most enjoyable trip with our excellent guide Kadek. The highlights for us were visiting the monkey Forest first thing, seeing the rice fields and then stopping at a coffee plantation for an amazing paddle of different teas and coffees. Then a great buffet lunch overlooking the volcano. Kadek was very informative about the culture too.

today was a dream! my guide was so helpful and I had a private ride to 4 waterfalls around Bali, lunch overlooking the volcano and got to experience the rice fields. it was a magical day and I would recommend it to anyone coming to bali!!
